A beautifully preserved Ludwig Pioneer snare drum from 1976, finished in a vibrant and original Red Sparkle wrap.

Equipped with the correct Pointed Blue & Olive badge, serial number #1061007, accurately dating this drum to 1976.

Condition:
Excellent overall condition. All parts are original, with hardware in outstanding shape—no pitting, corrosion, or issues. A very clean and well-maintained example.

Shell:

  • Classic 3-ply Ludwig shell

    • Mahogany / Poplar / Maple

  • Maple reinforcement rings

Hardware & Components:

  • Original P-85 “Black Face” multi-hole strainer

  • Correct 1970s Ludwig logo butt plate

  • P-4066 internal tone control with black round felt

  • Period-correct Ludwig snare wires

  • All original hardware in perfect working order

Heads:

  • New Remo Ambassador batter and resonant heads
