1964 Ludwig Downbeat Snare Drum – 14" x 4" | Black Oyster Pearl
An exceptionally rare and highly desirable Ludwig Downbeat snare from 1964, finished in the iconic and original Black Oyster Pearl.
Fitted with a Chicago Keystone badge bearing 5-digit serial number #57802, accurately dating the drum to 1964.
Condition:
Excellent overall condition for its age. The original Black Oyster Pearl wrap is well preserved, with only light, age-appropriate wear. A beautiful and honest vintage example.

Classic 3-ply Ludwig shell (mahogany / poplar / mahogany)
Maple reinforcement rings
Original Resocoat white-painted interior

Original COB (chrome over brass) hoops
P-84 strainer
P-32 butt plate
