An outstanding vintage Zildjian K Istanbul cymbal, crafted during the final years of Turkish production at the legendary Istanbul factory, before manufacturing moved away from Turkey. Cymbals from this era are increasingly rare and highly sought after by discerning players and collectors.
Sound character:
Exceptionally musical and expressive. The stick definition is clear and articulate without being overpowering, paired with a warm, smooth wash that blooms naturally. Easily crashable with a soft, vintage response, making it ideal as a small main ride, left-side ride, or expressive crash-ride. The lighter weight contributes to its fast response and organic feel, perfectly suited for jazz, blues, fusion, and acoustic settings.
