1968 Ludwig LM400 Supraphonic 14" x 5" Snare Drum
Chicago-era keystone badge, serial number 568972 (1968).
An outstanding example of this legendary snare drum, presented in excellent condition. The chrome is exceptionally clean, with no pitting whatsoever, and the drum remains 100% original, with no issues or modifications.
Features the classic chrome-over-aluminum shell, fitted with 10 Imperial lugs, original P-83 strainer and butt plate, and the correct P-4066 internal tone control with black round felt. The snare wires are a new aftermarket replacement, ensuring optimal response and playability.
Equipped with a Remo Suede Emperor batter head and the correct period Ludwig Weather Master resonant head.
The drum has been completely stripped, carefully inspected, professionally cleaned, and re-assembled, ready to perform at its very best.
